The Institute for Tribal Environmental Professionals (ITEP) is once again offering the annual Tribal Lands and Environment Forum (TLEF). This year’s forum will be taking place in Minneapolis-St. Paul, August 17-20, 2015.
The forum will feature special trainings, field trips, and breakout sessions focused on solid/hazardous waste management, brownfields, UST/LUSTs, Superfund sites, and emergency response. This year the Forum will also include breakout session tracks related to tribal water programs – water quality, drinking water, and habitat restoration (including wetlands, streams and fisheries).
On this website (http://www4.nau.edu/itep/conferences/confr_tlf.asp) you will find information on registering for the forum, transportation options, securing vendor/exhibitor tables, and a draft agenda. You may also access presentations and agendas from past forums.
ITEP informs us that they will be continually updating this website.
If you are interested in presenting at the 2015 TLEF, either during a breakout session or one of the special trainings, please fill out the online proposal form. ITEP will consider proposals dealing with solid waste, brownfields, Superfund, UST/LUST, emergency response, tribal water, and cross-media issues. The deadline for all proposals is May 11, 2015.
